The Stuttgart Stäffele on the chest symbolizes our connection with our hometown. What is unique about the jersey of VfB Stuttgart? What does the city of Stuttgart represent? The new home jersey for the 2025/2026 season answers these questions in a very special and unprecedented way, combining two iconic features – the red chest band, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, and the Stuttgart Stäffele. It symbolizes the connection between the club from Cannstatt and its hometown of Kessellage. The new jersey features our new main sponsor LBBW and our long-term supplier JAKO on the chest, and the slogan “STEP UP!”, aiming to combine regional roots with the ambition to keep moving forward.

This harmonious fusion is reflected in the club’s iconic white and red colours, with a modern and harmonious design, a progressive structure on the chest and an innovative embossing process on the jersey fabric. The embossed pattern not only gives the jersey a unique texture and high quality, but also incorporates Stuttgart’s iconic staircase pattern – the Stäffele. If you look closely, you can recognize, for example, the famous Eugensstaffel (secondary steps), the idyllic Sünderstaffel (secondary steps) and the steps and steps of the Cannstatter Kurve. The white cuffs also incorporate the exquisite embossing pattern and the new V-neck design make this jersey a stylish companion both on and off the pitch.
