Ajax-125 years shirt

To celebrate Ajax’s 125th anniversary, the club will launch a special edition jersey. The design of this adidas Originals jersey is inspired by a team photo from September 10, 1911, believed to be the first time Ajax appeared in the iconic white, red and white colors.

In order to keep the jersey authentic, the jersey sponsors made a highly respectful gesture. Main sponsors adidas and Ziggo will appear in tone-on-tone colors on the red stripes, while sleeve sponsor Team Rockstars IT has chosen to keep the sleeve pure white for this special occasion.

Just like the original jersey, in honor of our city’s 750th anniversary, the Amsterdam flag will return to the front of the jersey – an honor traditionally reserved for players representing Amsterdam.
