Full of memories, pride and emotion, the new jersey of Deportivo La Coruna pays tribute to Deportivo La Coruna’s most glorious nights in Europe and to one of Deportivo La Coruna’s most iconic symbols, the compass rose.

The jersey reinterprets the iconic T-shaped design, conceived by Enrique Cabarcos in the 1990s, giving the club a modern visual identity. This historic silhouette accompanied Dépor’s European debut in 1994, but its first appearance was against Murcia on January 20, 1991. Now, more than three decades later, the jersey elegantly reinterprets the design: the blue stripes, now inverted, evoke the spirit of Súper Dépor and their first glorious success in the Champions League.

The jersey design is directly inspired by the 1995-96 season, when De Boer won the Spanish Super Cup for the first time and almost reached the European Cup Winners’ Cup final against Paris Saint-Germain. That season is deeply engraved in the collective memory of fans, and now the jersey design also echoes the team’s recent achievements, such as the team’s U19 youth team won the Champions League in the 2020-21 season, five years after their victory.
